Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP)
These are all the required OCP items for OTS, as well as links to where to get them online. Most if not all of these items can be purchased upon arrival to Maxwell AFB.
Cold Weather Jacket

OCP Pants

Rigger Belt Tan
Must be "Tan 499" Color, there's a few different styles and brands to chose from.
USAF BRANCH Tapes (Kellac)
One for each uniform top, and one for your OCP fleece. Brown for USAF, Blue For USSF.

US Air Force / Space Force Tapes (1800nametape)
One for each uniform top, and one for your OCP fleece. Brown for USAF, Blue For USSF.
OCP Patrol Cap
You'll need to have rank sewn on one, so bring two. Purchase on base at Clothing Sales, or online at: www.shopmyexchange.com or www.kellac.com
Watch Cap
Coyote Brown or black. We recommend black as you can wear it with blues as well.
Name Tapes (Kellac)
One for each uniform top, one for your patrol cap, and one for your OCP fleece. Brown for USAF, Blue For USSF.
Gloves Black or Coyote Brown
Necessary for the colder months. Get black so you can wear them in any uniform.

Rain Jacket - OCP Parka
Rain Jacket, recommended all year. Purchase on base at Clothing Sales, or online at: www.kellac.com They can be found used, and much cheaper here: www.fortbraggsurplus.us
Boots Coyote Brown
The Under Armor boots are excellent and AR 670-1 uniform compliant (Coyote Brown 200 colorway). You can also purchase boots on base at Clothing Sales. You may want to bring a second set for field training.
US Flag Patch
OCP Spice Brown, must have stars to the right. USSF Version is full color.

Physical Training Uniform (PTU)

Running Shoes
Color doesn't matter. We recommend you bring a pair you're already comfortable in and have broken in.

Service Dress & Blues
These are all required Service Dress and Blues items for OTS, as well as links to where to purchase. It's highly recommended to check the Airmen's Attic, Military Surplus Stores, and www.ebay.com for lightly used blue items as that can save you hundreds of dollars.
Flight Cap - Female

Service Coat

Blues Rank Metal
You'll need at least three, one for your hat, and two for your service jacket. They come in packs of 2, so two 2 packs should do the trick!
